It’s called freedom. Every person should be allowed to pursue whatever medical treatment they judge to be the best course of action.
The doctor should be a trusted adviser but the final choice should of treatments should be up to the individual.
And the FDA and CDC should have no say in the matter.
The universally accepted first treatment for diabetes is metformin. It’s cheap and effectively stimulates your body’s own response to insulin. It’s more herbal supplement that drug; it’s derived from a french lilac plant. It has been widely used in Europe since the 1960s, but it was banned our FDA until 1996! Our FDA effectively denied this drug to millions of diabetes sufferers for 30 years, including my mother.
What this crises has shown again is how awful the advice from so-called experts is wrong and much worse than the common sense of well-informed citizens. The CDC created this crisis when they were too incompetent to develop a test but banned anyone else from developing one. The FDA has done everything in its power to deny US citizens hydroxychloroquine in conjunction with zinc and antibiotics as a treatment option, when it is the treatment of choice in the rest of the world. Dr. Fauci insisted that ordinary people should not wear masks when it might have done some good in February, and now insists that ordinary people should be subject to police-state restrictions indefinitely. The experts’ ridiculous computer model that predicted two millions deaths, resulted in an enormous overreaction rather a few sensible measures. The public health experts in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania sentenced tens of thousand of elderly residents in nursing to death, by insisting that nursing homes takes coronavirus patients.
At every stage, ordinary people with commons sense would have made vastly better decisions than public health experts.
I absolutely agree with you. I love that Trump gives people the information. I was told about hydroxyquloroquine by my work friends (from India) months ago and researched for days until I found that hydroxyquloroquine works by pushing zinc into your cells. Zinc stops the virus replication. Vitamin D, 10,000 IU a day in your bloodstream kills viruses. They now have data that shows covid deaths correlate to low vitamin D. Proactively taking zinc and Vitamin D is an option people should know about. The FDA will never provide that information. Their daily recommendationds of vitamins and minerals is a farce. Vitamin D in nursing home patients is most likely low. Anyone having trouble absorbing vitamin D is at risk. We have see groups of people getting hit harder than others. No coincidences.
