CT was once a way to escape NY insanity - much lower real estate taxes and no income tax which helped if you worked in NY but traveled a lot in your job. Then it went to hell in a handbasket.
Left in 1981 for the OC, back when it was still Free America. Still better than much of California, but kind of turning into CT with better weather. Thanks.
