I believe Michigan ranks just slightly behind New York in the number of residents who pick-up and move to lower tax sunbelt states the day they retire.
Many of them UAW members showing blatant hypocrisy (including, sadly, my late father-in-law).
I always found the use of the word “scab” by union types amusing. They’d be the first to hire a cheaper gardener, or house painter, or what have you when the coin is coming out of their own pockets.
