Devastating number. When May’s number comes in I wouldn’t be surprised if that number hits 30 percent.

I don’t think there’s another state so heavily dependent upon tourism. Even Hawai’i has non-tourism related industry. Agricultural, fishing, ranching, etc...

Mining is really big in Nevada. Reno also has a diverse economy. Las Vegas, though, is really dependent on tourism.

Hard to see how the housing sector doesn’t collapse with 30% unemployment. Tons of new housing developments in NV. They crashed hard in 2008, too.
