The beginning of phase 2 has NOT been given the green light from Governor Cuomo. This revelation comes after hours of mixed messages from local leaders and state officials late Thursday night.

Governor Cuomo seemed to contradict the idea that Phase 2 was a natural two-week progression from Phase 1 in a radio interview Thursday afternoon with WAMC in Albany. In it, he spoke about sending state data to international researchers for analysis.

Cuomo, like other Dem leaders around the country, are totally without a plan or an idea how to lead. After killing thousands in nursing homes he now is incapable of allowing freedom to spread across his state he rules with an iron fist.

Cuomo’s frequent Upstate critics weighed in quickly. Rensselaer County Executive Steve McLaughlin, a reliable foe, called Cuomo a control freak and a disaster and described the situation as a farce in a series of tweets. He was particularly critical of Cuomo’s plan to have experts review local data. I can assure you that not only do I not care what some unnamed and probably non existent ‘international group’ has to say about our data, I don’t even care what Cuomo has to say at this point.
