The same thing is happening here in MA. The stupid mayor doesn’t even have a plan, zip, zero, nada. He canceled the Boston Marathon yesterday. It had been pushed back to September but now it’s a goner. The city stands to lose 200 million dollars. I don’t think this will help the Dems. as not all businesses are run by Trump supporters. This may come back to bite these tyrants.

Watkins Glen, N.Y. (WETM) – According to a post from Watkins Glen mayor Luke Leszyk’s Facebook page, the Village of Watkins Glen will also be taking a stance against New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo’s executive order.
Lesyzyk says in his post, “Despite the indecision of our governor and their lack of guidance I would say that we are officially in phase 2 of reopening”.
Lesyzyk also saying quote, “I would like to include outdoor seating for our restaurants though that wasn’t included but I feel makes sense. If any businesses get push back or complaints I will take full responsibility. Watkins Glen is on its way to being back open”.

We drove through Watkins Glen during Memorial Day weekend. It was deaden than a doornail. There should have been bumper to bumper traffic from Montour Falls right through to the lake. We got through in a couple of minutes. The Glen was open, Famous Brands had curbside, a few restaurant had takeout, but there were only a few parking spots taken.
It was a scary sight. And Schuyler is one of the poorest counties in the state, IIRC.
Good for them for opening. We’ll be going back to spend some money in support.
Just imagine if Cuomo didn't nix fracking in the Southern tier, they would all be prosperous counties.

Looks like His Majesty has given his serfs in the Southern Tier and Finger Lakes areas permission to move to Phase 2.
