I’d rather not wait until civil war is inevitable and actively underway. This may be our last chance to avert it.
Strong, decisive leadership is needed, and President Trump, with the backing of whatever members of Congress he can get, should exercise it now.
Congress is useless but Trump could go through the motions with them just to ‘check the box’ to say he tried to engage with them.
Another night like last night and he may well have to take some serious steps to ‘stabilize the situation’.
He’s the only hope for real leadership left in this country.

We passed last chance about 3 months ago. No hearts and minds on the left will be changed. I have people and families I care about on the line, as do many others.
The suburban cops have told people to be prepared and I know of women with kids who have left the upscale burbs,
Hard action. Now. Or these thugs will be in WI and IA and SoDak/NoDak and MO by tomorrow. They have cars. They have cheap gas to burn, so they can fill a tank. They can get 200 miles in 3 hrs, less if they speed. They know drive-bys. The burbs will be in flames before anyone can get off a shot and bullets don’t put out fires.
People can’t do a perimeter on 1/4 acre, let alone rural land. They can burn the just-sprouting fields and if I thought of it, so did they. They can pot shot cattle, who are stupid and will panic. Barns and houses and garages are within reach of a well-thrown molotov.
Use planes. Use fire retardant. Barricade the hwys and the exits. Extend the no gas available from 10 miles to 50. Let all workers stay home, as they will, anyway, and bring in the top infantry brigades. This is war.
Treat it as such. Later, hold trials for the leaders. Confiscate everything from the billionaire enablers and make examples of them.
