Watching Los Angeles TV coverage last night.
Cars pulled up to a shoe store. Passengers ran in and out with armloads till the car was so full the passengers almost could not get in.
They left. The next car pulled up, repeat. Some cars circling the block, waiting their turn.
Not a spontaneous accident.
And not one arrest to be made since the police were at the other end of the street.
