I would have to agree that the interstate was blocked. There are no other vehicles ahead of that truck or behind the truck. Why is that? I can only imagine that everybody else was smart enough to stop at the roadblocks. This truck evidently did not stop and found himself all alone, with no other motorists around, and in the middle of a riot.
Sucks for him.
Michigan has speed limits around 80.
Should have had Mad Max driving the truck.
Two words...regonald denny.
...fools do not look into the future to even know they are potentially causing food, fuel and other commodity shortages.

But their enablers do.
It’s the goal of their end game.
I watched the video last night of the Fed ex truck in St. Louis. While the truck was still stopped the thugs on the street spoke about getting the driver out. But it turned out he was a brother so they left him alone.
But not for long. Brother or not, those thugs were going to loot that truck. And the driver knew that his life was therefore in danger. So he took off. Completely unaware that a thug was between the two tandem wheels. Did you see that video? It was not pleasant to watch. The guy filming the scene kept up with the truck for at least a quarter of a mile. All the while filming that poor thug being smashed to pieces under the wheels.
The tanker trailer was displaying 1203 hazmat placards, which means he was loaded with gasoline. A bulk liquid tanker takes extra room and a lot of skill to slow down without dumping it over. I pulled bulk liquid hazmat trailers for years, so I know a little bit about this.
A lesser driver could well have panicked when he came upon that CF, dumped it, and incinerated every one of those bozos who were milling around on the interstate. Glad to hear that they arrested the driver. I’m sure their coddled mob is placated now.
Happy ending....saw it.
Business owners are starting to gun up and make a stand too.
More trucks needed, and more legal right-of-way for trucks during insurrection situations.
KARE 11 is reporting that MPD and the national guard have shown up with overwhelming force using teargas and pepper spray to clear I35W. Most of the protestors have dispersed, and the remaining ones have been corralled into a large parking off just off the interstate. The protestors are surrounded and cant escape at this point, and the police are using bullhorns to announce that everyone is under arrest. The crowd appears to be mostly white, with many wearing black shirts, jackets and masks.
Why doesn’t each truck have a blade on the front of it for taking out the trash?
Total lie by that television station. I saw the video and he was driving very slow so as not to kill them. If he went at top speed that bridge would have been littered with dead. That was a lie designed to inflame more violence.
I’ve seen video..
1) MNDOT says he did NOT drive around a barricade. ..
2) that area has curves and hills..
3) no one expects crowds on the freeway
4) the driver was on the air horn for 21 seconds and had his 4 ways on
5) he can be seen in the video actively trying to AVOID people
6) he came to a complete stop and the truck was attacked and the windshield was kicked out.
7) he was trying to escape for his life
8) he was pulled from the cab and attacked
UN1203 is gasoline..
That truck is a rioters wet dream.
Good start.
If he wanted to run people over he would not have stopped. He probably saw his mistake and wanted to get out of there quick. He then stopped at the 2 people lying on the road and they they beat him.
