I worked for Norton tire at the time. Just to show us how stupid they were they burned up 10 million dollars worth of tires. They should've had every car in Liberty city with new white walls😁 After all Norton tire employed a lot of blacks at the main warehouse, when they burned it down, they moved it out west of MIA. Dummies! Do you remember Earls? Guy started at Food Fair grocery as a bagboy, moved up to manager over the years, and when they wanted to sell he bought it. They burnt it down, even my dad was upset as he sold Pillsbury products to him. Just a hard working black man that moved up. Then they cried there was no where to buy groceries 😭

Remember Food Fair from my youth. Only knew later mostly about Coconut Grove which was barricaded from the rioters by Miami PD. The Marine story always remember— implied force of arms controlling some seriously stupid crazed angry people whose leaders tell them-— break your own stuff in revenge. And then think they will have it replaced. Heard it many times.
