Wife and I are real estate appraisers, and we are photographing homes from the street, including homes owned by police, almost daily. If they have purchased a home in the last several months, or their home is listed, odds are it will be photographed more than once from the street by appraisers, people interested in the home, insurance inspectors, etc.
I don’t think you have any idea how well planned and organized this is.
Better have your business card handy. What you have always thought was a normal business practice will be seen by others as something else.
Society norms are quickly changing. As one Freeper posted, looting a shop is unpunished, opening a business can land you in jail.
My neighborhood has a lot of work from home professional types plus retired homebodies and a very active nextdoor.com for suspicious activity.
I have to go to the job most days.
People tend watch out for each other on my street.
