/keeping my thoughts to myself
One of the greatest men I’ve ever known died in April.
He was actually known to all the scurvy congress critters due to his lifetime’s work on behalf of bikers.
Instead of the GRAND funeral procession of *thousands* of bikers, a massive graveside service complete with a piper he *would* have had, deservedly so, people drove by the damn funeral home *quickly* because we were not even allowed to pause for a prayer.
He was buried like a pauper with no kith or kin attending.
I. Am. Livid.
/”Pappy”, you deserved better.
Something should be organized when all this lifts. Hopefully soon of course.
It will be but it’s not the same.
I don’t know if you ever been to a biker funeral but they’re different from any other.
We did not have our chance to grieve, cry and comfort each other.
It will all be after the fact, now.
They cheated a great man.
No I haven’t. I just wish the best for all of you.
I am grateful for that.
