How is this even a Federal issue, Mr. So-Called-Libertarian? Want to change qualified immunity, take it up with the state legislatures.

How is this even a Federal issue, Mr. So-Called-Libertarian? Want to change qualified immunity, take it up with the state legislatures.

Qualified immunity is a doctrine created by federal courts, which applies only to federal cases under 42 U.S.C. 1983 (suits against state officers for violating federal constitutional rights).
