I do believe that the dear Lord sent Kathryn to Rush for this very reason.
God bless Rush and may the Lord protect and heal him. Talent on loan from God, indeed.
So true
Thanks so much SWL. I am blessed with a great defeat of my Stage 3. I have some serious neuropathy that will probably be permanent in my hands and feet. I will probably type slow, have poor handwriting, and be even a worse dancer than I was before all this but my cancer is all gone for now. I need to gain some weight back as I lost 80 pounds, but that will take a long time without a stomach.
The wedding pic.
I like their happiness.
Lovely. No doubt one of the most proudest, happiest days of Rush’s life, and Kathryn’s too.
You made my screen blur.
Part of grieving is celebrating the life of those who have passed.
My best friend passed when we were in our mid-thirties. He was kind and very funny.
When I got the phone call that he died, I actually physically collapsed on my knees sobbing.
At his memorial service, people told stories about things he did. A lot of laughter and stories about the good things he did.
After went out to dinner with his friends and family (and a few drinks) even more laughter.
We celebrated his life. A beautiful funeral. (and I still miss him 30 years later.)
I missed this the first time. Thank you for bumping it back up.
bttt
Spent most of yesterday grieving the loss of rush. Enjoyed sitting out on the deck in the afternoon thinking of Rush, listening to the best of Elton John, sipping wine and shedding tears as for a lost dear friend.
