Michigan Supreme Court Unanimously Sides with 77-Year-Old Barber over Gov. Gretchen Whitmer

In a unanimous 7-0 decision, the Michigan Supreme Court sided with 77-year-old barber Karl Manke over Gov. Gretchen Whitmer on Friday.

Whitmer and Attorney General Dana Nessel have been relentlessly pursuing Manke, attempting to force the closure of his shop during the coronavirus pandemic.

Great Lakes News reported on Facebook late Friday that the Court ruled unanimously in favor of the Owosso barber — a stunning decision, given the narrow 4-3 ideological split in favor of conservatives.

What court after seeing what has happened this last week with these same governors allowing rioting, would make a 77 yr obey some unconstitutional lock down law.

This is it is imperative to get POTUS reelected; JUDICIAL APPOINTMENTS. Yea I know he doesn't get to appoint state level judges but still, this is an example of how the left’s terrorist agenda can be stopped in it's track.
Since we no longer have free speech to condemn them, and since they have tons of voter fraud.

Manke the Barber should invite Governor Whitmer over to his shop for a hair styling, free of charge.
Just to bury the hatchet. She probably would have too much pride to accept or even respond.

Los Angeles Public Health Director Dr. Barbara Ferrer
Taxpayers laid out $413,865 for Ferrer’s regular salary in 2018, according to Transparent California, plus $77,905 in other pay and another $61,479 in benefits.

The women who is the mayors spokesman who tells us to wear a mask and calls herself doctor is not a medical doctor but essentially a social worker. She is paid $491,770 a year + $61,479 benefits.

No Los Angeles workers laid off. Her pension will be bigger then her salary after a few inflation adjustments and we will pay for it.

On Tuesday, Ferrer told the Board of Supervisors that the stay-at-home order will “with all certainty” be extended for three more months, into August.

Oh but you can riot and loot and kill as long as you wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Even Liberal judges know the governors have no right to shut down any business they see fit without due process

I guess there was an intermediate appelate court which remanded the case back down to the local courthouse, and ordered the district court judge order his business closed, and locked while this guy was appealing to the Michigan Supreme Court. In the Michigan Supreme Court, the court described the appelate court’s actions as “inexplicable” while his appeal was pending before the Supreme Court. I guess the Michigan Supreme Court, in addition to overturning the order, decided to throw in a few sentences on how improper the intermediate appelate court’s actions were.

I’ve been saying this for months that you can’t force people to be locked in their homes without elected officials passing a LAW that says that.
Otherwise you have a Dictator System where “laws” are applied by opinion, political bias or worst, weaponized.

The entire flatten the curve was voluntary. The politicians had to make their case to the people. As soon as the dems started making everything mandatory and penalizing violators, it was against the law and the states become liable for takings because they kept people from opening up their businesses.

Hmmm. In the future, I wonder how the governor will enforce authoritarianism without police. It be sort of difficult if their banned.

Perhaps they’ll just rely on the mob to burn his shop down and murder him. After all he does represent the worst in us; a white, America loving, liberty pushing, free market entrepreneur, hard working “opportunist.”

Michigan has suffered the biggest loss of jobs of any of the states vs the national average under Whitman 22% unemployment vs 13.3% national average. Most blue states are above the national average while most red states are below the nation average in job losses. Most covid deaths as well as unemployment occurred in the blue states. Does that tell us something about governance?

Three demonRAT justices have come to their senses.

The RATS are in trouble in November, America will not be burned by the 'antifa communist mob'.

No reasonable person condones what we are watching on TV nightly, and no BS commentary by the talking heads will change what we are seeing with our own eyes.

We see thousands of marauding rioters and looters burning down cities side by side, no social distancing, no masks yet they want us to believe they are justified in arresting a salon owner or a barber for not obeying their commands when it comes to their virus rules. F THEM, ITS A LIE
