Polls this far out mean EVERYTHING. Just ask President Hillary Clinton.
She had the following states locked up in June 2016:
Texas
Georgia
Ohio Florida
North Carolina
Ohio
Utah was in play too
Last week I re-watched that little video clip from 6pm election night 2016 where Bill Clinton jumps around like a kid when he, Hillary, and Chelsea think she’s won the election. That was before she threw a temper tantrum when she found out she lost after the polls guaranteed she would win.
There was also a moment when someone came up to John Kerry on 2004 election night and wanted to be the first to congratulate the new president.
BTW, I have a stamp sheet set from Liberia with Gore as the president elected in 2000. They also put one out for GWB as they didn’t know who actually won. The Gore sheet is not worth much but a very interesting souvenir.
