the article is blocked for me (exceeded limit of free articles blah blah) but I’ll guess they’re talking human trafickking.
Every once in a while we hear about maids to rich multi-ethnic migrants who’ve have their passports taken away. Then there’s the illegals under threat to their family back home to pay their ‘transport cost’ to coyote cartels, thru forced labor in the sex trades or in jobs where few questions are asked, like agricultural workers or slaughterhouses.
Plus I want to yell its not the 60s anymore. Its 2020 - get a hold of yourselves.
Girls who cant speak English and have no relatives in the US are Extremely vulnerable to those willing to beat, threaten and deceive them, while providing them with food, shelter and drugs. One of the reasons for the Southern Wall is to stop, or at least slow, the sex slave trade.
Its an ugly world.
Yeah - imagine some freshman tasked with doing a report on slavery, and he puts that WAPO map in there showing Africa as the biggest slave continent - hes gonna fail for not being woke !
Some pushers or pimps slip drugs into the drinks of young women to get them started and keep them high until hooked. Mexican ecstasy is now one common drug of choice for that. Some MDMA is pressed along with meth (for pill cohesion) into unmarked pills in local mills in the U.S. (ingredients from Mexico) and is also on the increase. Some drug dealers looking for young women are getting drugs from low rung Cartel members. Regardless of how they started using drugs, prostitutes addicted to drugs are slaves. It’s a very common practice.
In January, Trump signed an Executive Order targeting human trafficking and child exploitation.
The Left was not happy. They attacked him, for example, saying it would benefit him politically to rescue child sex slaves.
“How do they define slavery in the U.S.?”
H1B workers?
I think they are referring to any person working in the sex trades. . . including those working there of their own choice.
RE: H1B workers?
Nope, that’s redefining slavery. They’re free to leave the USA anytime they want ( and they’re being paid a fortune compared to where they came from ).
China is 100%.
Try to leave with your assets and without approval.
One continent is particularly dark.

It’s not BS.
Proclamation on National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month, 2020
whitehouse.gov ^ | December 31, 2019 | DONALD J. TRUMP
http://freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/3804807/posts
Human trafficking erodes personal dignity and destroys the moral fabric of society. It is an affront to humanity that tragically reaches all parts of the world, including communities across our Nation. Each day, in cities, suburbs, rural areas, and tribal lands, people of every age, gender, race, religion, and nationality are devastated by this grave offense. During National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month, we reaffirm our unwavering commitment to eradicate this horrific injustice.
Trafficking crimes are perpetrated by transnational criminal enterprises, gangs, and cruel individuals. Through force, fraud, coercion, and sexual exploitation of minors, traffickers rob countless individuals of their dignity and freedom, splinter families, and threaten the safety of our communities. In all its forms, human trafficking is an intolerable blight on any society dedicated to freedom, individual rights, and the rule of law.
Human trafficking is often a hidden crime that knows no boundaries. By some estimates, as many as 24.9 million people - adults and children are trapped in a form of modern slavery around the world, including in the United States. Human traffickers exploit others through forced labor or commercial sex, and traffickers profit from their victims horrific suffering. The evil of human trafficking must be defeated. We remain relentless in our resolve to bring perpetrators to justice, to protect survivors and help them heal, and to prevent further victimization and destruction of innocent lives.
American blacks should be grateful their ancestors escaped slavery in Africa. Slavery is an evil institution, but in practical terms, slaves in the US colonies and the US republic had a far better life than their African counterparts. Their homes were as good as homes of many free whites. That had guaranteed work, food, medicine and housing. They were free from tribal warfare. Some lived very well and were treated like family.
I think this site is referring to sex slaves mostly, women, boys and girls who been trafficked, although there are reports here and there of domestic servants who are never paid and held against their will, usually by muslims.
Husbands do not count as people. We are just something the women keep around to pay the bills etc.
That’s why girls want to get married so they can own their very own cash machine. I they leave the marriage they can take all the cash with them.
I’ve used this article as a counter. Slavery isn’t historical in this world.
IMO, illegal immigration is a modern day form of slavery. Work for menial wages and get to choose where they live and what they eat.
