Demonstrators in Temecula rally for Blue Lives Matter
Seeing criticism of law enforcement across the country, including in Temecula, a group gathered in the city Friday, June 12, to declare that Blue Lives Matter.
Murrieta resident Bob Kowell organized the Trump/Blue Lives Matter Rally taking place at the busy Temecula intersection of Ynez and Winchester roads, next to the Promenade Temecula mall and a block from the 15 Freeway.
About 100 people rallied at the peak of the demonstration, which lasted from 4 p.m. to nearly 7 p.m. in support of President Trump, the law-and-order candidate, and police officers across the region.
It was mostly peaceful, but someone hurled a water bottle at a car turning onto Winchester Road and hit Lydia Chavez, who drove out from Montebello for the rally, on her left thigh.
Im glad he hit me and not my dog, said Chavez, whose pet, Gidget, is a 2-pound female Maltese. Ill probably get a bruise, but Im OK.
Chavez said it felt at first like she had been struck by a chunk of ice.
Passengers in other cars yelled at the demonstrators and raised their middle fingers. Some verbally sparred with the passersby.
As one car turned from Winchester to go south on Ynez with a middle finger out the window, Michelle Strandgren of Murrieta yelled, I love you too! God bless you!
A young man who yelled out of a passing car, Bring Obama back. A woman at the rally yelled back, Never!
And as people yelled black lives matter repeatedly out a car window, Paul Rodriguez Jr. of Apple Valley walked close to the car and yelled all lives matter back multiple times.
More people honked their car horn in approval than expressed disapproval.

More news coverage ...
After weeks of anti-police brutality protests, supporters of President Trump rally in Temecula
ending will sadly be “and demonstrators tried to get home on vehicles with all tires slashed.”
Love that “free speech.” What a wonderful theory it was.
I love you too! God bless you!
No.
I was there. We parked very close by in the parking lot which had lots of free spaces because the nearby Soup Plantation went bankrupt and closed down. Come to think of it, if Soup Plantation hadnt gone bankrupt during the Wuhan COVID-19 shutdown, they probably would have been firebombed by the BLM/Antifa rioters because the word plantation is in their name.
The local sheriff also had unmarked cars w/deputies parked along with us ... so no tires were slashed and no vandalism to our cars.
God bless you and yours.
So glad you made it out okay.
Of anyone wanted to make a point, instead of being S P E C I A L, they would say “My Life Matters”.
That is universal
This other trope of BLM objectifies lives...
Temecula Rocks!

I’ve Rallied several
Times at the Duck Pond!
