Former CNN anchor Soledad O'Brien made stunning claims on Saturday that a network exec once told her she could only have the "right kind" of black guests on her show.
Reacting to the controversy that has rocked ABC News over the weekend, O'Brien reflected on her time at CNN and indicated that a network executive discouraged her to sit down with black radio host Roland Martin.
"This is an interesting read. Reminds me of the CNN exec who told me: 'Roland Martin isn’t the ‘right kind of’ Black person.' She didn’t want me to book him on my show. L," O'Brien tweeted.

I’m guessing that the “right kind” is someone who parrots the liberal agenda.
My assumption is that CNN doesn’t want the sort who will panic the herd.
I’m not buying this for a minute. That guy was a fixture on CNN. May still be, I don’t know. I don’t watch any cable news anymore.
The ABC News story is even juicier. Turns out their head of news talent has a long history of racist statements. She’s being put on “administrative leave” while ABC/Disney investigates.
She said Robin Roberts “wasn’t being asked to pick cotton” during contract negotiations. Let any conservative say that and they would be doxxed and fired within 24 hours.
As if I sit before the TV every night and wonder when I will see Sheriff Clarke or David Webb on CNN.
Doesn’t she ‘identify’ as black? Or tried to in the past?
