What scared the hell out of me was when SECDEF Esper and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Milley showed disunity with POTUS.

...”What scared the hell out of me was when SECDEF Esper and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Milley showed disunity with POTUS.”...

Yes! Is that who they are? Did they serve without understanding our Constitution or is some greater force threatening all of them, including our Congress, our Corporations, our Athletes, and everyone who holds any power? A knowledge of history’s most evil players makes this a very scary moment. Why are they all so silent regarding the rights of all Americans to have them abide by the Constitution which created our freedoms?

Absolutely. It smells of a military coup.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Seven Days in May was rescheduled for June.

“Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Milley”

When I saw the picture of Milley attending the “photo op” in his combat gear it made his assertion that he shouldn’t have attended because the military doesn’t belong in domestic disputes ridiculous. If he was concerned about that then why didn’t he wear a business suit?

As well as Mattis.

I spoke with a young (former) Marine about it who said “hell yeah screw Trump. Mattis was right”

I said it had always been not ok for anyone in the military to publicly criticize the CIC. Against the UCMJ. It destroys trust, leadership, morale.

Everyone in the house jumped in. Mattis is not in the military he’s retired.

Aww c’mon. He was speaking as a Marine general.

That discouraged me. The Marine agreeing with this breakdown of order. The mother, wife of a (now deceased) colonel, encouraging her kid praise these military leaders in denouncing the president.

And wasn’t there a state national guard that refused to go along with orders?
