Colin Kaepernick may get a legitimate shot at a return to the NFL – at least eventually.

Los Angeles Chargers coach Anthony Lynn said Wednesday the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback, who was once a play away from winning a Super Bowl, is on the team’s “workout list.”

According to multiple reports, Lynn said that Kaepernick fits what he wants the offense to do but clarified that the team has “no plans” to work him out just yet and is happy with who he has now at quarterback.

We have about five months to go to the election and you get two or three months until the NFL season supposedly starts so it will be fun to watch the media continue to try to help virtue signal each other

Hard truth on this guy is he was not that effective on the field, then this protest thingy of his too root.

He is not remotely capable of playing in the NFL.

My bet is, that he will not show in any tryout camp, he’s going to want money up front to join the team without trying out.

and pity the poor team that takes him, then cuts him.

How about giving Flynn and those that were removed by the liberal supremacists first.

Colon Ratnick is washed up as a player and I bet there are no takers because roster spots are a premium.

Actually making him play for the Chargers is the best punishment I can think of.

Unless he has come off his unreasonable demands of Gauranteed starter and highest paid QB there is no team on earth going to sign him.

I have an alternative scenario

First, Someone will sign him. Don't shoot the messenger but given the gutlessness of the NFL someone will sign him just to placate the Black players. Goodell has all but guaranteed this.

Next will be the reverse of the Derek Carr case. For those unfamiliar, in 2016 Carr was the QB for the Raiders who spoke out against people disrespecting the flag. The raiders were a legit Super Bowl contender late into the season. One reason why was their great offensive line which was 100% black. They averaged giving up 1 sack per game. Lo and behold in one Monday night game Carr was sacked 9 or 10 times (I am sure there a stat guy out there who has the exact number) and then had at least a half dozen dropped balls by Black receivers who were know to have good hands. the next game, a defensive line got to Carr, untouched and Carr suffered a broke bone in his back and was lost for the season. He wasn't the same since that injury as that type of injury has been known to be career ending.

I predict the opposite will happen with Kaepernick. Corners will play "soft" on his receivers so they have more room and time to catch the ball. Linebackers will all of the sudden get caught out of position. D linemen will all of the sudden have zero sacks. Look for him to have league leading stats while his off field proponents defenders play the smug "see-I-told-ya-so" line.

see, to the average NFL fan who will go to or watch the games it's just about drinking beer, tailgating, wearing the team jersey and going the team cheer. As was proved by the Derek Carr case, they don't dive a damn about the fans. They see it as something bigger where as we don't. And therein lies the problem.
