I ALWAYS capitalize the “B” in Black when referring to the race.
The “N” in Negro was always capitalized for that reason. Black has become the preferred name for that race of people so it only makes sense it be capitalized.
“White” is NOT A RACE! “Caucasian” is the (supposed) “white” race. It is appropriately capitalized.
Why is anyone even talking about this?
Maybe because White is the. preferred name for Caucasians.
This a good thing as they will post a mugshot of a Black person who committed a crime... right?

What about mulattos? Is there a case that is half way between lower and upper?

I've got news for that lady -- many groups from around the world, black, white, or in-between, are not particular fond of most black Americans.
