God Himself chose Jews to point civilization to the “One True God,” yet He also pointed out numerous times that these rebellious folks had very “stiff necks” when it came to following His directions but it’s always up to Him to correct them when He needs to, though He has used despotic pagan leaders to do the job.

As a born again, I believe God when He says, “Those who bless Israel, I will bless and those who curse Israel, I will curse.”

God divorced the house of Israel, because of her spiritual adultery... (Jeremiah 3:
7 And I said after she had done all these things, Turn thou unto me. But she returned not. And her treacherous sister Judah saw it.
8 And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.

Remember Jews are but one tribe of the House of Jacob... and after Solomon’s reign there was a ‘civil’ war, and the House of Jacob, became the House of Israel (10 tribes) and House of Judah ... *(Judah and Benjamin) ....

Each ‘tribe’ was named and their inheritance was delivered Genesis 49 And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days.

Notice that prophecy ‘LAST DAYS????
