USA TODAY 'Fact Check' Seeks to Cover Up Racist Democrat History of 1964

“Independent fact checkers” can easily be mistaken for Democrats who don’t want you to remember Democrat History. USA Today threw a “False” flag at this Facebook meme, causing it to be fairly unreadable to people scrolling past it:

In 1964, on the floor of the U.S. Senate, Democrats held the longest filibuster in our nations [sic] history, 75 days. All trying to prevent the passing of one thing.

THE CIVIL RIGHTS ACT

USA Today’s Rachael Riley admitted that southern Democrats filibustered – for 60 days, not 75. But not all Democrats filibustered.....so it was “Partly False.”

A June 20, 1964, New York Daily News article about the passage said 46 Democrats and 27 Republicans were in favor of the bill, while 21 Democrats, all from Southern or border states, opposed it along with six Republicans.

They listed Democrats like Strom Thurmond (who later became Republican), but left out some familiar names, such as Sen. Albert Gore Sr. of Tennessee. But this meme had to be flagged for fact abuse:

And people never remember the 1964 Democrat convention, at which there was controversy about the Mississippi delegation, because they were chosen in primaries and caucuses at which blacks were excluded, in violation of the national Democrat party rules.

It is not news that the Senators who opposed the Civil Right Act of 1964 were racists.

Here’s an interesting point. No Google search I run will actually list all of the senators involved in the filibuster. Just Richard Russell, Strom Thurmond and Robert Byrd.

They choose Truth over Facts.

Facts are inconvenient and Truth is whatever you want it to be.

We shouldn't expect BLM Today or BLMNN or MSBLM or The New York BLM or Washington BLM or any other BLM fundraising operation educate people about the racist history of the BLMocRAT Party.

It's up to us Keyboard Warriors.

Damn the torpedoes! Full speed ahead!

So the next time anyone blames “Republicans” for anything, make sure to say the claim is “partially false” because Mitt Romney would have opposed it.

The Democrats maltreatment of blacks during and since the Civil War has been pretty much glossed over and a great number of blacks still believe the BS fed to them by the party and lame street media.

Fact Check: Partly true - not every Nazi killed a Jew.

Here is another interesting point... it was originally the Civil Rights Act of 1959, not 1964.. so what took them so long? Also, who voted in support of women voting? Here is a hint... it wasn’t democrats.. Who voted against blacks owning guns to protect themselves from the Democratic clan? It was Democrats.
