I’m likely different from you. If I saw 10 of my comrades fall in front of me, I’d be looking for another place to be. Remember, in spite of their bluster, these are not trained and disciplined troops, but rather guys and gals who have never been told ‘no’ in their lives.

they could be well back and not even see it happen
but if they guy is out of ammo or trying to reload and the mob rushes him at that point, hes not trained either and those house doors and windows arent going to hold anyone out
so all it takes is people in the back to decide to go in after others have taken the brunt
they aren’t heroes or trained they just waited til the guy ran out of ammo
