I have always been puzzled by American Jews. They vote in heavily lopsided numbers for people who wish them ill.
I have never understood it.
You would think that Trump would get 70% of the American Jewish vote, but the exact opposite was true in 2016.
What this tells me is that most American Jews are not beholden to the Jewish religion, but are beholden to the Leftist religion.
They vote about the same as their neighbors, most urban areas are heavily democrat. And other than Orthodox, most Jewish denominations are supportive of democrat ideology. And largely clueless about antisemitism, which in a serious way most haven’t experienced in the US.
As Jews have become more and more successful most have embraced ‘Reform’ or ‘Liberal’ Judaism, which is, as one Jew said, about like liberal Unitarianism without ham at Easter. Essentially these groups are militantly virtue signaling secular humanists. The people that want to kill Jews are designated members of the victim class so liberal Jews whose big conceit is ‘practicing justice’ have to support these people so they can feel good about themselves. The religion of the Torah has become irrelevant to liberal Jews , who are mostly ex-Jews in reality.
