Also, don’t forget...

Trump blocked Fauci from testifying in the House.

Well, Texas is locking down some again, and this is an article that tells you the leadership is NOT LISTENING to Fauci — so it seems that whoever they ARE listening to, what they heard made them believe that closing bars was a good idea.

It probably is — half-drunk people standing next to each other in close quarters for hours on end screaming at each other. if one is infected, he’ll spread it to people around him.

Note there was a bar in florida that a bunch of infected girls went to, and they infected 7 servers.

That has been the case since the Army began making films about such things in my grandpappy's day.

Occam’s Razor:

Abbott listened to Fauci (or to the media who was amplifying Fauci and browbeating him).

Whereas Patrick had the scam pegged.

It looks to me that Fauci and others are actually in bed with Wuhan. There are actually a lot of western researchers who work there, including Americans, and Fauci has done business with them. Bill Gates has given money to them. And all of them, Wuhan included, seem to have some financial interest in Remdesivir.

There is a huge game being run, so big its hard to believe it when you see it.

Even when you see it, its politically dangerous to simply ignore it and open back up. More and more people have it, because in the end everyone is going to be exposed to it before we are done, most of those who are exposed will not even know they have it. Which is why aggressive testing finds people who have it and didn’t know. The news people will scream to the high heavens that another fifty thousand people have it, but these are people who had it and didn’t know. In which case, who cares?

They're making things up as they go along.

They overplayed their original hysteria and people are seeing it's not as bad as they said. Hence they're doubling-down because they'll never admit they were wrong.

And Cornyn (TX) wants to get rid of Columbus day and replace it with another black holiday. I am so pissed.

The only reason Cornyn runs as a republican is because he knows he can't get elected as a democrat. I have never voted for that snake.

Quick Hit: A Conversation With Anthony Fauci, MD: What Challenges Face Infection Preventionists in the Coming Year (12/16/2019)

Anthony Fauci, MD, always has a lot on his plate. The internationally known immunologist who first broke into the limelight with his groundbreaking work on HIV/AIDS in the 1980s is today the head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. Still, Fauci was recently able to pause long enough to talk to Infection Control Todayabout 2019’s progress and 2020’s challenges.

Infection Control Today:What would you consider to be the most urgent threat for infection preventionists heading into 2020?

Fauci:The issue of anti-vaxx remains one of the most serious threats for measles, influenza, and a number of other threats.

ICT:CDC Director Robert R. Redfield, MD, called for the ending of HIV infection by 2030 and you laid out that plan in February in JAMA Network. Would you call that the watershed moment in infection control in 2019?

Fauci:Our plan to end the HIV epidemic in the US by 2030 represents an important commitment from the highest levels of government and certainly can be considered as a watershed moment in infection control in 2019.

ICT:What role should infection preventionists play in antibiotic stewardship programs in healthcare facilities?

Fauci:Antibiotic stewardship is critical to thwart the development and spread of antibiotic resistant microbes. Infections preventionists should be proactive in endorsing and adhering to antibiotic stewardship.

ICT: This year, the CDC added Candida auris and carbapenem-resistant Acinetobacterto its urgent threats list. Do you see any more pathogens possibly being added to that list in 2020?

Fauci: Given the growing problem of [antimicrobial resistance], I am certain that there will be others added to the list over the coming years; however, it is difficult to predict right now which these will be.

ICT: You’ve been an internationally renowned fighter of deadly infections for decades. What is your take on the current state of hand hygiene?

Fauci: Hand hygiene is a critical part of infection control and it should be more strongly enforced and monitored.

ICT: What can we do to better encourage compliance with hand hygiene?

Fauci: Explanation of its importance and enforcement by hospital officials.

ICT: Any ideas about how environmental service teams can function better to prevent infection in a healthcare system?

Fauci: Closer cooperation and coordination between environmental service teams and hospital epidemiologists and infection control teams.

Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick (R) on Tuesday lambasted Anthony Fauci over his assessment of the recent surge in coronavirus cases in the U.S., claiming that his state did not need advice from the nation's top infectious disease expert.

Because they're doing such a bang-up job on their own?

>>>Nor is Trump pushing back. He is disturbingly silent as Lockdown 2.0 marches on.

Because he wants his cake and he wants to eat it too. That's why he has Pence out there telling everyone to mask up. Trump wants to deflect any criticism that the administration isn't taking it seriously - but doesn't want to anger the base that he's taking it seriously. He doesn't want to push back against lock-downs again - but he also can't speak out against them in areas like Fl/TX where we are starting to face a real issue - for the same reasons.

As far as Dan Patrick goes - he can pound sand. They said they would listen to Dr's - and they have not - and we are all now having to pay for it.

The Hill is almost as bad as WaPo in bashing the GOP and Trump.

The number of positive cases the MSM is always blaring about is a red herring. Likewise are reports of ICUs. Previously postponed surgeries are being performed and they sometimes require time in ICUs.

What matters is hospitalizations and deaths DUE ONLY to the virus.

I think he’s also in the pocket of BIG PHARMA, along with the head guy at the FDA.

He didn’t like HCL and insisted that we had to have a vaccine.

What’s the death rate/100K from COVID-19? Maybe 0.6?

I see things differently. Elected communist governors have given President Trump the international salute... they have decreed death sentences on old American grandparents, no bail, release prisoners, encourage riots, looting, and arson, with their cheerleading mass media... to disrupt commerce, religious gatherings, first amendment for any who has a free thought...

One of the reason I supported the candidate Trump, was all through his campaign... he constantly referenced. ‘We the people’ are government.. look how embarrassingly quiet citizens of these communists governor ruled states have been... very very quiet people except for the so called protesters who are NOT to be contact traced. How many funerals have been allowed? Well, except for one that became a three state circus.. ending up where?

Congress has been duplicitous and cowers in fear, the judiciary has replaced Congress and create ‘law’ out of thin air.. geez I could write a book ..
