In California and Oregon they’ve already gotten rid of single family housing zoning and encouraging to build multiunit buildings (expedite permitting, removal of parking restrictions, etc).
So any developer can go in a currently single family housing zoning area, buy cheapest house and build a fourplex, sixplex or bigger.

You are assuming that democrat politicians are going to follow the law. Judges in Texas have given property rights to Mexican illegal squatters/invaders to land owned by ranchers in South Texas.
Democrat politicians are acting outside the law and no one has stepped up to stop them.

The fly in the social planner's ointment is that low income individuals who want to live in suburban and rural areas are not at all like low income individuals who want to live in cities. (Most of us who live in suburbs and rural areas would have been low-income individuals at one or more times during our lives.)

Federal treasury is $26,477,240,853,124.76 in debt or $80,266.30 per person in debt. Feds have no money to spend on a housing bureaucracy or transportation regulations or “community development block grants,” so Congress should cancel all this spending. That’s my position. Why can’t I find a Congresscritter to endorse it?

Wasn’t Obama doing this in Westchester County, NY, just north of NYC? He was using race as his bludgeoning rod.
If I remember correctly, Obama said Westchester is 95% or so white, therefore it is racist. Something along the lines of disparate impact. And then didn’t Holder sic the Justice Dept. on Westchester County?
