One wonders how focused this cannon is? How narrow the beam? How much does the beam spread?
This seems to be not a weapon but the concept of a weapon with PR spin added by calling it a cannon. The most likely form is a flat phased microwave array such as that used in the anti-drone EM weapon that the US is begining to test in early deployment.
