Cruise was nothing like the Jack Reacher literary character, but I was able to watch the movies and found them mildly entertaining (First one with Robert Duvall was the better of the two). Cruise played Reacher as a quasi-Ethan Hunt which at least came across as somewhat credible.
Lebeouf just comes across as an effete sissy trying to act tough. Fury was a good movie, but would have been an outstanding movie without him.
