Every year since my kids were little, I’d read ‘A Carolina Christmas’ out loud...in my best Southern drawl like Charlie used to do. He actually wrote that and read it for a syndicated Christmas radio special back in the 80’s, I believe.
Gonna be a little sad when I read it again this year.

Oh I am so sorry for our loss of a great Patriot and performer. I caught this news here and could not believe my eyes..We will miss him dearly. His message was clear and loud and did his part of speaking up for American and the silent majority. Now its time that we follow his lead and protect America. Rest in peace friend.
Well damn. That’s a major loss indeed :/
