CHICAGO (WLS) -- As Chicago continues to move forward with reopening amid the COVID-19 pandemic, violence also continues to plague the community.
So far this weekend, 23 people have been shot, five fatally, as of Saturday evening.
Those fatal shootings include a 15-year-old boy.
A 15-year-old boy was fatally shot on the South Side Friday, police said.
The shooting occurred in the 9800-block of South Hoxie Avenue at around 4:48 p.m. in the Jeffery Manor neighborhood.

Was the 15 year old armed? Was he the aggressor Neither outside the realm of possibility.
Odds are the majority of these are gang related.
If every gang banger across the whole country, of every race, mysteriously died one morning we would find that crime rates, especially violent crime rates, would plummet.
It isn’t going to happen of course because within the neighborhoods where the suffering majority has to see their lives harmed, sometimes ended, and their prospects curtailed if not ruined, even as their children are drawn into shorter lives of crime bound for Hell, those people who are the only ones who can rescue themselves (the government sure isn’t gonna do it) are still impressed by things like whose precious, innocent baby they once were and who may have even had their sympathies and empathies co-opted by those who victimize them in the name of some we vs. they narratives.
So without revival ... nothing ... will ... change ... till Christ returns.

I was in the area not long ago. I avoid it as long as I can, because I don’t want to be caught up in anything. These things happen at all hours, not just at night.
Black lives actually DO matter. This is tragic.

Two things can help reduce murders - get rid of the unconstitutional ATF and all other attempts to restrict or limit Americans’ rightful liberties including our 2A right of self defense , and then make good firearms available to all who wish them - add fine quality safety training classes and shooting sports on high schools and community recreation programs. Criminals will think twice before attacking us when they realize we’re armed and able to defend ourselves. It’s when criminals figure we’ve been disarmed like sitting ducks that they attack.

I can’t get over that poor man whose son was killed in CHOP. So sad.
And yet there are those that will claim the murder rate is trending down...are they playing with the numbers?
In the sad scheme of things this is nothing unusual. Statistically less than a blip. No. Normal.
In my high school we had a pistol range under the gymnasium. One week out of the semester gym class was at the range for practice. 1965-68.
Mayor Lighthead will blame President Trump during her Monday Press Conference. The in-the-tank Chicago Media will nod their heads and agree.

A FOX station was broadcasting some stupid soccer game.
The camera landed on some white ahole player sitting in the stands, wearing a T-shirt that says “Black Lives Matter.”
I hope they beat his dumb ass.
Of course, all Trump’s fault. In gun-controlled Chicago, what else could it be.
