Without a doubt.
Dont know if this was the last Fourth of July, but Im curious... what exactly did we celebrate? Our freedom? Our unity? Our strength?
2019 was our last one if we lose in Nov. 2020 was a hand held sparkler at best.
Are they going to add a day to February?
NO.
But we may have a new holiday date to add to the calendar.
CONSTITUTIONAL REFORMATION DAY...
We shall have to see what day that will fall on.
.
Only if you allow it
Nobody should hate America and America-haters are not America’s best and brightest. They choose to be on the outside looking (and breaking) in. What has happened in the past is so unfortunate. Our nation’s design criteria could not have been more inclusive at the time. It is not and was not possible for any one generation to have seen and enjoy all of the necessary changes that would eventually come and those yet to be decided. It can all happen without laying waste to history, polite society and our nation’s full potential for good. American voters will reject Marxist progressive-ism like so much foreign tissue after a major organ transplant that no American would have hoped or asked for. The instincts of a vast majority of Americans are correct in telling us that the wanton destruction, gratuitous violence (murder, arson, etc) is unnecessary. The only revolution that is truly in play is the American Revolution. It began with the Declaration of Independence and continues by design, without an end in sight. The “life-cycle” of this nation is intended to be as infinite as it’s true potential and when things begin to happen the way they should, it will be they who will be wanting to join us and not the other way around. Make America Great Forever!
But expect more fireworks to come at later date. Possibly 11/4/2020
Well, I think this will be our last presidential election. Assuming we even have this one.
Bump
Trump wins, and the left, including all media, Hollywood, politicians, nervous Nancies, and the crazies, will scream for an end to the 4th of July.
Biden wins, and the 4th of July will continue.
Look, I’m a huge Trump supporter, and know he’s best for the country, but even when the country and world were falling apart under Obummer, everyone was told, and therefore believed, that the world was a great place.
These past almost 4 years have been nothing more than the biggest collective emo hissy fit in the history of time.
Not in my book.
I’ll celebrate it regardless, because I still support what it represents.
I think it was. It sure felt like it.
Most of our elected “republicans” would support abolishing the Red and Blue and just leave the white and add a knee pad crest to the flag. Cowardly aholes.
Well Rooty ought to know that things change as history progresses.
Always has and always will until the end of time for each of us.
Damn just think of where the Natives of 1492 are now today.
In 2015 I looked at the pubbie candidates and lamented that there wasn’t a single one worth my vote. I’m not talking about worth fighting for or beating the bushes to rally support for - I’m talking about taking the time to scratch a mark on a piece of paper and post it. That’s how jaded I had become.
Then Trump threw his hat into the ring. He immediately began making the most audacious statements - flying directly in the face of political correctness statements. He got my attention and, for the first time in decades I found myself voting for a candidate instead of voting for the various uninspiring “lesser of evils”.
My thinking was simple but straightforward: This is our last chance to get it right. We may not win with Trump but if the Hildebeast wins we are all truly lost.
Against all odds Trump won. And we all reaped the benefits of having a sane person at the helm. At the same time our adversaries coalesced into our mortal enemies, determined not to merely triumph over Trump (and us), but to destroy us.
Now Trump is locked into battle for America’s soul. He isn’t campaigning against Bidet - Sleepy is only an afterthought, a placemarker for the left’s ambitions. Trump is fighting against the combined forces of darkness who are allied to obliterate our nation. If Trump does not prevail there won’t be an America next year worth celebrating.
Sure the buildings may (or may not) be standing, but the soul - the essence that made us what we were - will be irretrievably broken.
I pray for Trump’s continued strength and tenacity.
Only if the democrats win they are now in the dismantle mode and will never give up until their party is dismantled.
