Mark of the beast. We need an amendment in the constitution about forced artificial parts.

Yes, voluntary in the same way that contributions to the “United Way” are voluntary.

Candidates need to ask voters whether they approve of the gov’t installing chips into their bodies?

The Microchip Protection Act would allow Michigan employers to use microchipping, but could in no way force employees to participate.

It should not be “voluntary” (if you want this job, a promotion, etc.). It should be prohibited.

I don’t want anything to be mandatory.
But the amount of ignorance that is expressed every time RFID is mentioned is just staggering. These devices obey laws of physics that are completely predictable and immutable, including the inverse square law which makes it impossible to read the chip from more than a short distance away. Shielding prevents even that from occurring and nothing can alter this behavior. It’s entirely within a company’s right to restrict access within its facilities and systems and employees have no right to refuse to demand a physical key for example when electronic access control has been implemented. Again, it should NOT be mandatory! But there are benefits and reasons beyond just big brother paranoia.

There is a backlash (hope that word is not band too, because of “”lash” part) building. It will be a terrible sight. See Mat Bracken’s “ What I saw at the coup”.

Last week, however, the Michigan House of Representatives took a preemptive strike against the technology, passing a bill to make the microchips voluntary in the state. The Microchip Protection Act would allow Michigan employers to use microchipping, but could in no way force employees to participate. Yet.
They are softening us up to the idea.
