Joe Biden Campaign Chair Cedric Richmond joined FOX and Friends Thursday morning to discuss the current state of the Biden campaign.

Biden is far ahead in the polls. Trump needs the debates more than Biden does. If I were the Biden campaign, I would pile on a long list of demands.

Trump should offer to debate the Libertarian candidate, the Green party candidate and an empty chair.

The polls have Trump slightly behind where he was against Clinton in 2016. However, in 2016, the risk of being doxed, your car keyed, boycotted, your home or business burned, or fired from your job for supporting Trump was much less.

Really? One poll from quinnipiac shows trump down about 100 or 200 points (sarc) but rasmussen says 3 points.

We all know how the 16 point hildabeast, and the 17 point dukakis leads went.

They want to be able to interrupt the debates when Biden starts drooling and jabbering, deflecting attention away to what the President supposedly said wrong. They want to be able to set it up where he is, in essence, debating thousands of “fact checkers”. If he says “purple”, they will argue “violet” and absolutely “prove” that he was lying.

Some are nonsense, some have better methodology. One big change from 2016 is the weighting by education level, which missed big pockets of Trump support. Many pollsters have corrected for this, and so to that extent, they are more accurate now.

Of course, polls should only be taken as an aggregate trend indicator, and currently look bad. Things can change a lot in 3 months.
