That’s a typical liberal response. If there’s no one but me not a very intimidating move. What have you done to fight the tyranny?
None of us can do this alone. Rush said, there’s nothing to united us, no 911, no war, no solidifying cause.
United we stand, divided we fall.
Our stupid (GOP) mayor of Jacksonville will be right in line for this. I dont think De Santis wants to do it (in fact, he said thered be no second shutdown) so the important thing is to write to him and support him.
If businesses have to close again, theres no way theyre going to be able to reopen a second time. Itll be all over for the state.
Arizona has started falling after new restrictions.
They work. Are they worth the cost is a political question. That they work is not a question at all.
16 Jul: The Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine: Why no-one can ever recover from COVID-19 in England a statistical anomaly
by Yoon K Loke, Carl Heneghan
People living in England have become increasingly concerned in the face of Public Health Englands (PHE) figures demonstrating a relentless daily toll of more than a hundred COVID-associated deaths several days a week (see Figure 1).
This is in stark contrast to the more reassuring recovery in neighbouring regions (Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland), where there are days with no COVID-associated deaths whatsoever.
One reason for this due is a statistical flaw in the way that PHE compiles out of hospital deaths data, rather than any genuine difference between the regions of the UK...
Anyone who has tested COVID positive but subsequently died at a later date of any cause will be included on the PHE COVID death figures.
By this PHE definition, no one with COVID in England is allowed to ever recover from their illness. A patient who has tested positive, but successfully treated and discharged from hospital, will still be counted as a COVID death even if they had a heart attack or were run over by a bus three months later...
PHE data also confirm that more than 125 000 patients have been admitted to NHS hospitals for COVID, the majority being successfully treated and discharged. There are now less than 1900 patients in hospital. So, roughly 80 000 recovered patients in the community will continue being monitored by PHE for the daily death statistics. More and more people (who are mainly in the older age group) are being discharged to the community, but they clearly may die of other illnesses.
This is why out of hospital setting deaths remain constantly high (Figure 1), even though the Office of National Statistics data shows there have been fewer deaths than the five year average in the last three weeks, and NHS England data shows a moving average of 19 deaths per day in hospital...

And then George Floyd came along.

Yeah, I’m gonna storm the capitol and raise the Gadsden flag, too. Right after everyone else is done showing how serious they are! Then I’m going to bring peace on earth and goodwill to man throughout the earth, not just talk about it like all them there sheeple.
It is clear that the only thing that you understand I absolute numbers. Fine, I dont have a lot of time to explain to you the trends we have been seeing in the last week. You also make NO reference to the fact that testing has increased from 2.5x - 3x over a couple weeks ago. The testing then was saturated, it is now not saturated and we are seeing the real extend that existed probably all along.
I can’t help it that you dont understand things in statistics and testing.
“Totals are almost worthless.”

I agree - that’s why I never paid any attention to the totals in sports. You can be sure who won or who lost, I say! Then there’s those people who are foolish enough to look at their total take home pay on their paychecks - is that crazy or what???
cases x10
fatalities x2

Tests made the death rate go up? Huh?
What about the reports the Florida’s numbers are skewed?

Who's right?
Coronavirus in Florida, Tampa Fox 13
Published 9 hours ago.
I clearly see a trend on deaths reducing sharply from a high on 7 July.
Do you really think that is a daily count — in Florida there are deaths updated as far as four weeks ago.
Please, learn a little about the data before you present concrete, factual analysis that turns up to be — well — incorrect.
Actually it doesnt, the rats are crying and the Gvernoer is rightfully paying them no mind
The dictator of Duval?
No its morons + government that sucks. It takes a moron to believe it . The country is loaded with them !
I think we could get past George Floyd much easier that the virus tyranny. He was a transient cause, the virus is here forever apparently.
Now they’re saying George was hooping (drugs in anus) and that’s what killed him. But we don’t have free press to get that information out so they might get a little more mileage out of it, a few more cities with no cops.
But the virus, they’ve got their own chokehold on Americans with the virus.
Florida DoH has ginned up the numbers to give the Dems ammo against the Repub Governor. It’s all political...
“What about the reports the Floridas numbers are skewed?”

Even if you could show where there might be a short-lived bump in the official record in the number of infection cases, the death rate is unaffected. And, in fact, if some false numbers were added to the positive cases, that would mean the death in FL is actually higher per/actual positive cases.

I go by the hard data, not my feelings about the data. I understand it may be upsetting, but that’s how reality is sometimes.
