I’ve never really paid that much attention to Jay. But I did think he had more sense than this.

If he were still on late night, I don’t think he’d be doing something like this. It would be too divisive, and he never struck me as a divisive comedian. He was good. I like Jimmy Fallon, but Jay was better. He was more like Carson. Kind of gentle in their humor. Very funny but it didn’t have that sort of bite that Fallon’s comedy does sometimes. Though I haven’t watched his show in a while.

I did like Fallon in Taxi and Fever Pitch (both movies; the first was with Queen Latifah and the second was with Drew Barrymore).
