It wasn’t a political view it’s the truth.

Those that fired him should be personally sued, and probably criminally prosecuted as well.

This kind of crap cannot be allowed to stand.

Other Walled Lake teachers have expressed their political views without any repercussions. Paulette Loe, a now-retired Walled Lake Western teacher, encouraged students to read an article from The Atlantic about "how to beat Trump" while still employed. Nicole Estes, a kindergarten teacher in the district, called Trump a "sociopath" and a "narcissist" on Facebook in 2016 and is still employed at Keith Elementary School. Neither Loe nor Estes responded to requests for comment.

See? He was specifically targeted for who he is - not for making a comment of a political nature on his private social media.

Sue, and prosecute.

You are right - there are a lot of liberals who are just fine with the lies and double standards. They are lost causes.

But there are also plenty more who are good fair-minded people that just got duped by the Democrat party and need a wake up call. They are not Marxists - not even close. They are not dishonest - they just got convinced somewhere along the line that Democrats are the good guys, when they’re not.

I’ll give you an example. Blue collar union workers. I personally know hundreds of them here in eastern Pennsylvania who were life long Democrats - rabid pro Gore pro Kerry Democrats and went 100% for Obama/Biden both times.

That’s what their union bosses told them and they fell into line and marched lock step. They would have the Democrat bumper stickers and yard signs and get into bar fights with Republican each election cycle. They were loud and proud Democrats.

I was always one of the Republicans arguing with them, and I used to say the same things back then that I say now: the Democrat party is not your friend - Democrats are sending your jobs to Mexico and China. Increasing the minimum wage, corporate taxes, and “safety“ regulations doesn’t protect you against corporate tyranny, it just prices US labor out of the market and sends your jobs to China. High taxes, job killing regulations, fake social justice, etc., etc...the only ones who benefits are Democrat politicians and (ironically) multinational corporations who don’t give a shit about US workers.

I used to make the same exact points with these same guys 20 years ago that I make now, and they wouldn’t listen. But Trump changed all that.

They are on the Trump train now because he made the case for America first and he said it in away that they understood. These guys look so happy when they see me if I haven’t talked to them in a long time because they are exited to tell me they are voting for Trump - it’s like they got religion. It is very contagious.

I think Trump has a way of reaching people that is extremely effective - and he started with a focus on America first - jobs. That reached a lot of people that just hadn’t ever heard it explained in a way that meant something to them. He says over and over that China took millions of our jobs and anyone can see it is true. He doesn’t bother explaining macroeconomic principles like the price-inelasticity of demand. He doesn’t speak in platitudes. He just states the obvious and has the balls to call a liar a liar. These people respect that.

Now, he is talking about rights and freedoms. But again, he’s not talking philosophic platitudes or giving civics lessons. He puts things in practical terms.

Hardcore leftists hear it and think he is another Hitler. Conservatives hear it and wish he would talk more like Ronald Reagan. But these people in middle America are responding to it (I hope).

It may seem strange but I truly believe the internet has turned all of us into one big neural network, where each of us are individual neurons influencing the other neurons.

Everything is global and real-time with an absolute reach. So now the war is for the hive mind. A collective belief system is the war.

I do not believe evil can win - but it is going to try to at all cost. The end justifies the means, by any means necessary. It’s for all the marbles now.

Public school administrators are the most rigid, bureaucratic, and stupidest people I have ever met, at least when they are on the job.

Off the job, too, unfortunately. One of my family members married one. She broke the hearts of his parents, siblings and nephews. He has nothing to say about it, except what she instructs him. Think Prince Harry. Sad. He was a conservative before she took possession of him.

The Teacher's Union Rep. probably approved of the firing.

My first thought, as well.

This is what the left does. You can’t even have an opinion or they will fire you, stalk you, and beat you down.

Again, saying the President is the President isn't a political opinion.

Since when does saying “Trump is the President” a statement of a political view? It is a simple statement of fact.

Perhaps; although multiple articles state Kucera actually claims he was fired for supporting Trump—and he retweeted Trump’s tweet which woke lefties will no doubt view as political. Another publication published more...

From Detroit News (if to believed):

Kucera retweeted a Trump tweet, saying “SCHOOLS MUST OPEN IN THE FALL!!!” and also tweeted:

“I’m done being silent. @realDonaldTrump is our president ... Don’t @ me”

The latter tweet received several responses, including one that Kucera responded to with a tweet that said, “Liberals suck man.”* The tweet was later deleted.

A few days later, Kucera said he received an email from district supervisors asking him to attend a Zoom meeting about his tweets.

https://www.detroitnews.com/story/news/education/2020/07/21/walled-lake-teacher-trump-tweets-prompted-firing-district-denies/54810

Regardless of whether it was political, my point is that IMHO political speech/views should be protected just as religion is...This is happening more and more—especially with tech companies and media outlets.

Sadly under the laws enforced by EEOC, it is illegal to discriminate against someone (applicant or employee) because of that person’s race, color, religion, sex (including gender identity, sexual orientation, and pregnancy), national origin, age (40 or older), disability or genetic information.

Wow. I don't think our current western civilization problems have ever been put in more succinct words.

The first line of defense would be:

CLANDESTINE INFILTRATION!

If that fails, the second line would not only be defensive, but offensive and be so ugly and I won't discuss here.

If the union didn’t defend him, he can also sue the union.

...appreciate the sentiment.

Doesn’t it seem inevitable though? ...if you were able to “look back” at some future point in time, wouldn’t it be obvious that “it was going to get ugly”?

I can only pray I’m wrong.

I'm with you. However if the commies keep pressing and increasing in numbers and activities, "ugly" will be an accepted term for us law-abiding self-defense Patriots. I will attempt to mass produce patches, Ugly Angry Patriots.

Check out to see who is supporting BLM/Antifa thugs. These are no longer simple protest marches down the street. You'll be amazed to see how organized and well-funded they are. Go to: revcom.us
Credit to Travis McGee for opening my eyes.
