Once again, I state the obvious; police are getting their marching orders from somewhere. It’s not out of the clear blue sky. It is politicians telling them what they must do, so wise up and go after the source which is most often politicians, and mostly Dem ones, that are telling police what they must do. Stop blaming the Cops as if they are just going after folks for no good reason. The reason is they are told to.
So vote the politicians telling them how high to jump out of office, or move out of a blue state and into a red one. Or lobby to get the laws changed. Don’t just sit on your couch and type and gripe. Join organizations to work against bad policy. DO SOMETHING other than just complain or make snide remarks against police. At least post comments on FR that speak to the real source of the problem, not blaming the messenger (in this case Cops under orders).
Military men and women are under the same constraints of having to obey orders regardless of which political Party is in power. That’s where our vote comes in during elections. It is of the utmost importance, but if there are more of them than us, we’ve got a problem. That’s why the Dems are desperately trying to change the demographics of our Country to garner more minority and/or illegal votes for their side, along with trying to rig elections by means such as mail-in voting, indoctrinating our students, and attempting a coup to overthrow a conservative President. Now its blame the virus on the President time. Any underhanded method will do. Marxist “any means to an end” philosophy.
Cops (as with our military forces) are not the problem in general. As in most groups there are always the occasional bad apples, or Cops or Military guys that are Dems (only God knows why). But by and large the Cops and Military back Trump; but they must obey direct orders by their superiors when Dems are in power whether on the local, state or federal level (and I use the term superiors loosely).
Those Dem/Socialist politicians once in power give the orders. We must make THEM the minority, or else our Country is lost. Keep your eye on the ball, the real source of our problems, not the messengers forced into delivering their commands. Otherwise we become a socialist country or engage in a second Civil War, and it may come to that if Trump loses this election. Get armed just in case.

How about a class action suit? Masks are being prescribed as a medical treatment, which means they are a medical device. Without FDA clearance, manufacturers cannot market them.

Are you suggesting that all police and military people rebel and overthrow the yoke of their commanders? Really? They should do that right now? All refuse to obey commands because they are Republicans as vs. Democrats? Under a different Party’s control than they themselves may be?
If that were the case, there would be constant revolution among troops and our society is destroyed. You have the vote; use it. Otherwise, get enough people on your side and instigate a new Civil War. That would be preferable to constant upheaval within the police and military ranks with no guarantees of outcome. Our civil society would instantly be very very uncivil, more so than it currently is. Is that what you want? Right now, this very minute? A mass rebellion of some sort amongst the ranks of the military and police? Be careful what you wish for.
Vote, and if that doesn’t work, hope that enough of the Sheeple who think like you are willing to band together to fight a second Civil War. That would be more honest and upfront. Overthrow the yoke of a tyrannical dictatorship if you think it has reached that point and you can convince a majority of your fellow citizens of like mind to act. I know we aren’t there yet, and you do too. Of course currently you would have to have your insurrections in a variety of blue states only.
There are no easy answers, my FRiend. Ordinary troops/police in any given country follow their leaders’ orders, whether they like them or not and hope that things will change. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don’t. Then an aggrieved populace, after reaching a certain boiling point, rebel, and either things change and the military/police swing to your side or to the other. That can take time; see Cuba and Venezuela or Hong Kong. Be prepared to be squashed if you don’t have the numbers (see Hong Kong).
Should we be in a constant state of war with each other or with other countries? Pick and choose your battles wisely. I doubt you have any clue as to what should be done at this point in time in our particular Country, other than vote at the ballot box to achieve change, or start another Civil War. Choose your poison and hope for enough like minded people to back you up.
Meanwhile our military who are trained to obey orders regardless of which political party is in power, carry on as best they can, trying to be apolitical regardless of their own personal beliefs. By the way, I can definitely see a potential Civil war brewing one day if our Country remains so divided. Once again, sane folks should arm themselves for whatever may come our way.
A great way to turn people be against the idiots screaming "Defund the Cops".

Hmm.. I guess since they’re otc, and anyone can buy, for any use, nothing pursueable there. Probably.
Yeah, I meant cloth masks. If a mayor says everyone must wear one, and they are in record saying why, there might be a legal case to be brought. It would be like Mayor Jill telling people they MUST walk around with a toothpick up their nose, to prevent Covid. Now if the CDC recommended it, dunno.
Or maybe a complaint with the FDA. Anyone can submit one.
As I used to say during the Obama years, when we feared totalitarian behavior from the administration, if forced to violent self-defense our primary targets should be THOSE WHO GIVE THE ORDERS. You've pretty much said the same.
