Some time, a little before the '68 riots, my realtor invited me to a party. During the chatter, the movie "Zulu" was being discussed and I mentioned that a scene at Rorkes Drift reminded me of a Democrat Convention.
Icy silence. Wrong party. Oh well. :-)
The scene in question (at :42)
doesn’t make a difference. Nobody will be attending the convention except a few delegates. There will be more hookers than attendees.
Thank you. My memory keeps merging the 1968 Dem convention that nominated Hubert Humphrey and the resulting leftist riots in Chicago and the 1972 Dem convention that nominated Leftist George McGovern into a single convention. The nomination of McGovern demonstrated that the Dem leftist/communist rioters of 1968, had taken over control of the Dem party.
1968 was a notable year regarding gains made in the West by Communism and Socialism. What was it that made it so powerful that year? I was 1 yrs old at the time....
Let “em call in ANTIFA and BLM (Burn, Loot, Murder) to work security.
We called them rioters then, not protestors!
