Hold on the hanging for a minute. Why? Because this court may just have handed Roger Stone a precedent decision that could get his decision/conviction for perjury etc. thrown out.
His jury forewoman was both a Democrat Party official and financial contributor but failed to put that on her jury form (if I’ve got the procedure correctly) or to fill it out completely.
The judge refused to throw out the decision once this deception was made known and empanel a new jury despite the judge/courts staff to adequately vet potential jurists.
Instead of singing “Tradition”, we should be singing “Precedents” re the Stone case. (I have no love for Stone but I want everyone to get a fair jury and a fair trial, which seems to be in short supply when it comes to Papadopoulus, Flynn, Stone and others).
