That is a sign of abuse. The child should not even be aware of the pain of the Father, which must be mostly mental after healing. It seems to me that Dad must be a whiner.

No kidding, my dad lost his leg in a motorcycle accident and it hurt me plenty to see my hero suffer. What a crap thing to say about a guy with one leg. Makes me fighting mad. Enough.
