The granny inadvertently burned the kid by posting a review of his tactical vest online with a photo of the him posing in it. Bread crumbs led to her then him.
The kid gave his granny up to his probie officer and in a sworn statement after arrest. The cops verified granny as the purchaser through her review - which the grandson had asked her to remove and to delete the picture she posted of him posing with his new vest. (he had told her he was just helping out with the food stand, all innocent and pure as the falling snow)
Granny responded to her grandson’s arrest with ‘he chose his poison’ (right on, Granny!)
