New York Times national political correspondent Jonathan Martin tweeted Thursday that presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden's recent stumbles have unsettled party officials and left them "thrilled there is no real public campaign."
Biden raised eyebrows twice this week over remarks during an interview that aired at the convention of the National Association of Black Journalists and National Association of Hispanic Journalists.
In a preview clip released Wednesday, the former vice president snapped at CBS News correspondent Errol Barnett over a question about whether he had taken a cognitive test, comparing it to asking Barnett to "take a test where you're taking cocaine or not."

For him to stand a chance at getting elected, he’s got to choose the person who would be president as soon as the election is over. And, it can’t be an affirmative action selection, because people will see through that. FACT is that, there isn’t any democrat that can beat Trump now, so, democrats will have to start thinking about their chances in the 2024 election.
Dollar to a donut the Dems will find a way to sidestep the debates. The last thing they want is national TV coverage of their candidate who can’t form a complete sentence, let alone defend himself in a debate. Of course, they could try to rig the debate like they did in the primaries.
Sooner or later people will take notice of the fact that Trump is everywhere and Joe is nowhere.
A vote for Biden is a vote for perpetual freebies.
As long as Biden can sign bills crafted by Pelosi and Schumer, Biden can do the job Democrats want.

I have yet to see anyone saying anything about how Basementman said that he was “so forward looking” to debating Trump, or the fact that it took him 3 tries to get the word “fitness” right.
Marc Penn made a good point on FBN today. The expectations have been set so low that if Biden does slightly better than a house plant, it will be a success.

I think the Trump campaign needs to be prepared for the slight off-chance that Joe’s dementia is all an act to set up an ambush at the first debate.

I think Biden is going to pick Gretchen Whitmer, who will be his mouthpiece.
They also ignore that he said emphatically “I get tested all the time” which was just more of his bs.
But they’ll eventually get a Democrat doctor to lie about his test result.
I'm not sure Biden can even handle a signature. If presented a bill to sign he'll reach for a box of crayons and ask what color he should make the "X".

I don’t know how bad Biden’s decline really is, but I know he’s being coached. A Bongino video yesterday pointed out how Joe is being coached to say, “Oh, I don’t want to say it, I’ll get in trouble” when he loses his train of thought.
It would be wise to treat Biden as a worthy adversary.
