I was on-board with flattening the curve, but that just means a longer process and gives the disease time to morph. Ending all restrictions would cause a few weeks of greater pain, but would allow the disease to burn itself out.
But let’s face it - the Anti-Trumpers want to prolong the crisis as long as they can.

Because of Trump Derangement Syndrome the information should have been spread through intermediaries, for example Republican governors.
If it had been done, the number of Covid-19 victims would have been substantially lower and it would have been much easier to open up the economy.
I really don’t know why it hasn’t been done. Is the pharmaceutical lobby so strong? But all the other sectors of the economy would benefit. Why don’t they insist on spreading this information?
And he knows this because?

Are we just going to ignore the fact that Sweden never issued stay-at-home orders, kept schools open, didn’t close businesses and the general public does not wear masks... ...and the entire country is down to LESS THAN 1 DEATH per day from COVID-19.

Wearing a mask to enter a restaurant to then walk to the table and take it off is the dumbest thing I’ve ever had to do.
Trump can't fire him regardless. Fed bank presidents are hired by the bank board of directors. They are not presidential appointees.
