The "woke" movement of major sport leagues like the National Football League, the National Basketball Association, and Major League Baseball has filtered down into the collegiate ranks. Given today's insane environment, how could it be otherwise? A case in point is that players from the Pac-12 Conference have issued demands and are threatening to sit out the 2020 season unless they are met.
This was done in a letter to conference commissioner Larry Scott and is said to be backed by hundreds of players from all 12 universities in the Pac-12. A number of the demands are reasonable such as the call for adequate safety protocols in lieu of the Wuhan virus. Think of the hypocrisy of the universities here. Many are keeping students off campus this fall because of the pandemic, yet football players are being asked to show up for practice and play games. Why? Money for the schools.

Another good reason why I have never cared about sports, of any kind. Saw Ernie Banks play twice when I was a kid. thats it. These clowns are cutting their own throats. We don’t need to hear about your politics if you play children’s games.

All College sports should be like Division III. I would still cheer for my university if they went from Division I to Division III.
Here’s MY demand: No one - regardless of athletic ability - should be admitted to any college or university if their high school GPA isn’t within ten percent of the average GPA for all incoming students. If the average GPA for all incoming students is 3.40, you would need a 3.06.
Cancel all academic tutors and assistance but keep grade minimums. Good luck with that!
This all goes back to the “FREE SPEECH” movement in the 1960s. Once Universities turned control over to the immature students it has been one demand after another.

Professional and college sports need to go on a five year hiatus. The fans simply need to stay away.
When the owners of the NFL, NBA, MLB, NCAA, Nooscar, and far-left television see their revenues completely dry up, they’ll be forced to cater to their fan bases again, instead of to the WOKE mob.
