Why should I bother to read about how some Never Trumper was wrong?
“Look at Me! I’m a doofus who was wrong! Let me tell you about how wrong I was!!”
Because it may give you information to help convert someone else to the cause.
If enough of them realize their error and vote Trump, it’s a good thing.
Maybe you should read the article and not spout off. He wasn’t a never Trumper. His concerns were about Trump keeping his word on abortion. Trump has and this guy is giving it up to Trump and admitting he was wrong.
People converting over to the right side and describing why they did convert is a GOOD THING!
You may not need to read it but others need to.
Reminds me of #WalkAway.
We will need every vote come November. Welcome every vote. Welcome every Prodigal Son home.
I suppose God won't listen when you repent your sins.
Because it’s a good model for FReepers who will turn out to have been wrong about a lot of stuff.
Why not! Welcome him back into the fold !!!
Be a gracious winner.
You should rather be grateful that God moves mountains....and he still does and will.
“Why should I bother to read about how some Never Trumper was wrong?”
Because we can’t afford circular firing squads! We need every soldier we can get. Welcome to this brother!
I understand your frustration with #neverTrumpers.
For one thing, the whole idea of declaring ones self a neverTrumper is absurd. Saying never in this context is like saying that you will not be open-minded. You will not be open to new facts or information.
But putting aside the never part of it, I think it is perfectly legitimate for people to doubt that a politicians deeds will match his campaign rhetoric.
After all, dont most politicians lie to get elected?
So, if people doubted in 2016 that Donald Trump was a conservative or even that he was a real Republican, and opposed him - thats OK.
And if these people, having seen him keep his promises, publicly recant - thats even better.
The neverTrumpers that I hate are the ones who were jealous of his success and resented his ability to quickly rise to the top of the Republican Party. Or the pundits who said he could never win, and became bitter because he proved them so wrong. Or the ones who chose early on, to believe that every horrible meme or smear levied against Trump was true, and are unwilling to believe otherwise.
These people hate him for his success - and the more he keeps his promises, the more they will hate him.
What you are is an effin D*wad. You didn't really need to announce that to the whole world.
Paraphrasing Luke 15:7 —
I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one Never-Trumper who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.
He will vote for Biden.
But who really cares who he or Erick Erickson votes for.
“Why should I bother to read about how some Never Trumper was wrong?”
yeah, like Hillary and Biden are pro-life, right?
