I sure hope this is a joke. I am not dismissing the importance of Susan B. Anthony but these pardons of long, long dead people is pure pandering and meaningless. She doesn’t need a pardon, her place in history is well set. How about pardoning someone alive, that can benefit from the pardon?

It’s symbolic, of course - and a thumb toward the Democrats - but it certainly doesn’t prevent him from other pardons (especially if this move gets him a few more votes toward future years in office).

Now Trump will be the one recorded in history as pardoning Sue, when it would have been so easy for the self-proclaimed party of womens rights to do but didnt. Just one more sharp stick in the eye for Democrats, always promising things for the oppressed yet never actually following thru.
