The mile wide Susquehanna with few crossing points has shielded Cumberland, Perry, Snyder, and York Counties (to its west) from the higher case and fatality numbers found in Northumberland, Dauphin, and especially Lancaster Counties to its east.
Now just imagine what could have happened if the Governor had ordered the halting of non-commercial westbound traffic over the nearly as wide Delaware River and kept the CCP virus in NY & NJ.
