Gas tanks are difficult to get into. Exhaust pipes, not so much Wouldn’t be hard to rig a hose to get oil into mufflers, potatoes in exhaust pipes.
You should cancel only if you don’t want to be IN a REAL MESS.

Takes the police 20 minutes minimum to get where I live. Ambulance 40 minutes since that's part of the volunteer FD.
Meanwhile I feel safer here than I would in a city or metro area. This place isn't too much different than the old West. Everyone's armed and most people have a barn bigger than the county jail. We have our methheads but everyone knows who they are and they pretty much don't bother anyone. They collect their disability and smoke it up. There have been cases where every once in a while, someone gets shot dead but it's usually someone that everyone hated because they were just a mean bastard and one person just finally had enough. No real investigation in those cases.
Slows them down at least. Give the cops some time to get there and start asking questions. Like “why is your license plate missing/blacked out?”

On a slow night, the cops go over files and rap sheets and decide which one is the most irredeemable. Within a matter of hours later, he ends up being found dead on the street. They investigate, but the cause is generally "fight with an unknown assailant" or "drug overdose." Funny how that happens.
